Social and Economic Interactions in Virtual Reality (Seminar)

Experiments are used to analyze behavior in decision-making situations under controlled conditions. They offer the advantage to investigate differences in behavior, or to test model-theoretic considerations in the laboratory. In recent years, novel opportunities emerged to apply "virtual reality" in experimental research, e.g. in the so-called "Immersive Virtual Environments", in short IVEs, in which the subjects have the perception of "being there". During the seminar, we analyze and discuss experimental research projects in virtual worlds which are about social interactions and economic issues.
