Childcare for Children of Employees

RWTH Aachen strives to offer our employees supplemental child care options in addition to those that are provided by the communities.

Kita Königshügel

At Königshügel preschool, a collaborative effort by RWTH Aachen as sponsor and Student Services as operator, children from the age of four months are cared for until their enrollment in school. The Kita building is located on the grounds of the RWTH Aachen botanical garden in the Königshügel area in Melatener Straße. At least one parent has to be employed at RWTH and be a resident of the city of Aachen. You can enroll via the Kita portal as well as by filling out an enrollment form provided by Student Services.
