Profile

NUS was founded in 1902 and is the oldest university in Singapore. With almost 30000 students it is also the largest. The main campus resides in the southwestern area of the city at the Kent Ridge subway station. Since October 2011, the city center can be reached with affordable public transportation in 30 minutes. NUS currently ranks worldwide at spot 25 in the QS University Ranking, and second place in Asia. This is visible on the campus through the excellent facilities in the laboratories and rooms for exercises.

In addition to courses in natural science and engineering, there are also interesting courses in humanities, such as Southeast Asian Studies, which any exchange student can take.
