Research Seminar AEP

AIXperimental Economics in Progress

Jointly organized by the Institute for Future Energy Consumer Needs and Behavior (Professor Madlener) and the Experimental Economics Group (Professor Gürerk)

The main objective of AEP is to give people who are doing or planning experiments (laboratory, field, survey‐based, or other studies involving experimental design) an opportunity to present ongoing work in an early stage and to get feedback on issues like research questions, experimental design, programming, recruiting subjects, payment mechanisms, etc., before presenting at external conferences or even before conducting the experiment.

Since the winter semester 2011/2012 we usually meet once per month. The meetings take place on Tuesdays at 12.30 hrs in a seminar room in the “Sammelbau” at Templergraben 64. Usually there is a presentation followed by discussion, but there is also room to discuss infrastructure and other coordination issues. The setup is brown bag.

Would you like to join the mailing list and keep yourself updated about the next AEP meetings? Are you interested in presenting your research in one of the available slots? Please contact Veronica Galassi.
